Recommendations by SectorThe following sections discuss energy use and recommendations for reducing energy use in a cost-effective manner for 8 key commercial sector components, 4 key industrial sector components (including “general industrial”), and the agricultural sector in Utah. Not every Energy Efficiency Measure will be applicable in every business in the sector, but businesses can get an idea of where to look for energy savings from the “menu” of measures for their sector. Businesses should conduct an energy audit, or have such an audit done by an engineering firm or energy service company, to determine which measures are relevant for their facility.
